What 𪸟 means
In chữ Nôm, 𪸟 can write the Vietnamese word nguội.
Chữ Nôm is an older Vietnamese character script. It grew after independence in 939 as scholars adapted Chinese characters and their parts to write Vietnamese; it was a collective effort, not a one-person creation. Here, nguội describes food or drink cooled to around room temperature; lạnh is colder, closer to “chilly.”
A related spelling, 𣳢, appears in Vietnamese verse both for cooling something and in cơm nguội, rice cooled after cooking.
