What 𪽏 means
A regional word for counting farmland. Qu Dajun’s Guangdong Xinyu (a local account from the early Qing) records the phrase “how many 𪽏” for asking how much farmland someone holds.
A 1999 Vietnamese Hán-Nôm dictionary, Giúp đọc Nôm và Hán-Việt (“Guide to reading Nôm and Sino-Vietnamese”), lists luống đất (“soil bed”) and lảnh ruộng (“field furrow”) for 𪽏. Chữ Nôm is an older writing system used for Vietnamese.
