What 𫊻 means
It names a swimming crab in Chinese.
𫊻 is the simplified-script counterpart of 蟳. In Mandarin, 蟳 sounds roughly like “shyün”: an i-like vowel made with rounded lips. Pinyin, the Latin-letter method used to enter Mandarin, writes it xún. Dictionaries describe the animal as a coastal crab with strong claws and paddle-shaped rear legs. Taiwanese seafood terminology uses 蟳 for strong-clawed swimming crabs and 蠘 for a different group with a more pointed shell and saw-like claws.
The traditional form 蟳 is recorded in the Kangxi Dictionary, a Chinese reference dictionary, and in texts from the Ming and Qing dynasties.
How do I type 𫊻?
Use Chinese Pinyin or Cangjie input.
In a Chinese Pinyin IME, enter xún and select 𫊻 if it appears. In Cangjie, enter LISMI (中戈尸一戈). Use 𫊻 in simplified-script text and 蟳 in traditional-script text.
Literal and regional, with a neutral tone; seafood uses depend on context.
Use 𫊻 in simplified text and 蟳 in traditional text.

1Why does 𫊻 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
