What 𫌂 means
It names a light, single-layer outer garment. Made of hemp or fine gauze, this cover was worn over clothes to keep dust off.
The Book of Songs, an early Chinese poetry collection, places brocade beneath 褧. In the Book of Rites passage called the Doctrine of the Mean, 衣錦尚絅 turns the plain cover into an image of restraint: fine substance need not advertise itself. The Unicode 18.0 chart lists Taiwan’s source reference TD-454A for 𫌂, represented by 褧.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𫌂 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
