What 𫓭 means

In a Han-era description of a carriage procession.

The older spelling 鉠鉠 appears in Zhang Heng’s Eastern Capital Rhapsody, in a line about bells on a carriage. Dictionaries explain it as a sound word, not the name of a bell.

Questions people ask

1

Why does 𫓭 show as a box on some devices?

Not every system ships a font for the CJK Unified Ideographs Extension C block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
