What 𫕷 means

Rain that keeps falling.

A Song-dynasty anthology, a collection of older Chinese writing, preserves a Tang-dynasty report: 𫕷雨 continued from summer and spoiled grain. Ming and Qing local histories use the same word for long rain and damage.

A local history of Shaanzhou records that in 1632 the rain lasted forty days; homes collapsed and the Yellow River flooded.
