What 𬂼 means
Choose from the language and source, not the shape alone.
A Chinese personal-name entry gives 𬂼 the Mandarin reading yǐ. The 古僮字字典 (Old Zhuang character dictionary) uses it for the Zhuang word ai, “lean on; rely on,” under the entry 挨. This is a separate word-use, not a second pronunciation of the Chinese name.
A memorial inscription from the Yuan period preserves 𬂼; later Ming and Qing books also contain it.
What does a Taiwan legacy code mean?
It points to an earlier encoding for this same character.
Taiwan’s 2016 CNS 11643 character-set table maps legacy position 12-5935, once stored as local-use code FD3BA, to 𬂼. If an older data file shows either label, it refers to this graph’s encoding history.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𬂼 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
