What 𬴆 means
It is an analogical simplification of 騹.
Mandarin pinyin (its Latin-letter sound spelling) writes 騹 as qí; dictionaries equate it with 騏 (simplified 骐). The older 騏 combines 馬 (“horse”) with 其 as a sound cue. The Warring States text Xunzi lists 騏驥 among famed horses: a coat description had also become praise for a fine steed.
