What 𭪊 means
Its recorded Zhuang reading is saeu.
In building vocabulary, saeu'meh means “main pillar.”
What is Sawndip?
It is the older square script used to write Zhuang.
Zhuang is a language spoken mainly in Guangxi, China. Sawndip uses Chinese character forms for their sound or meaning and also builds new forms by pairing a meaning clue with a sound clue. The script’s surviving written evidence goes back at least to the Tang dynasty (a Chinese imperial era, 618–907). A Latin-based Zhuang spelling was used from 1957 to 1982, when an updated version appeared. Historical Sawndip texts vary by writer and region.
