What 𭶿 means

It marks a rushed situation in this historical passage.

The Korean scholarly collection 東里集 (Dongli ji), written in literary Chinese—the formal written style used by scholars—was printed in 1884. Its biography warns exam candidates with 每因𭶿處錯了, roughly, “they make mistakes when rushed.” Here 處 means “situation,” so 𭶿處 means “in a busy situation.”

Questions people ask

1

Why does 𭶿 show as a box on some devices?

Not every system ships a font for the CJK Unified Ideographs Extension F block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
