What 𭷭 means
𭷭 is shown in the form 颰, a character for fierce wind. In Mandarin, 颰 is read bá for a strong, sudden gust; its other reading, fú, is treated as another written form of the separate character 𩖼. The early Chinese character dictionary Shuowen Jiezi, compiled around 100 CE, does not list 颰; the later dictionary Longkan Shoujian records the fierce-wind sense in a preface dated 997.
That written form takes on a different job in Buddhist names. In 颰陀和 (Bátuóhé in Mandarin Pinyin), 颰 helps spell Bhadrapāla, a bodhisattva’s name, by sound. A bodhisattva is a Buddhist figure on the path to awakening, so here 颰 supplies a syllable rather than naming a fierce wind.

Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
