What 𭺜 means
The base character began as a picture of a roof tile.
The base character 瓦 is attested in the Warring States period. Its strokes changed in seal and clerical writing before regular script settled on the familiar form 瓦. The Shuowen Jiezi, an early Chinese dictionary, defines it broadly as fired earthenware.
Japanese readings for 𭺜 include かわら (kawara), ガ (ga), and ゲ (ge). Cantonese dictionaries index it with 瓦 as ngaa5.
When a source prints 𭺜, retain that variant; 瓦 is the familiar form for ordinary modern writing.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𭺜 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the CJK Unified Ideographs Extension F block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
