What 𭻁 means
It is a text-specific form of 畋; the passage decides its sense.
The Eastern Han Shuowen Jiezi, a character dictionary, glosses 畋 as “level fields”; classical texts also use it for hunting. An index records 𭻁 as a Taishō-canon variant of 畋.
The Taishō Shinshū Daizōkyō is a printed collection of Buddhist scriptures published in 1924–1934. Its SAT text project preserves uncommon forms for accurate transcription; the entry shows 𭻁 as 田 beside 支.
