What 𭻚 means
Use the hexadecimal reference 𭻚 in HTML text.
The browser resolves that numeric character reference to this exact Unicode character.
What does 𭻚 mean in Zhuang?
It writes mbauq, a Zhuang word for “young man.”
Sawndip is a traditional character-based way to write the Zhuang languages. It adapts Han-character shapes and parts, and also uses locally made graphs, to record Zhuang speech. People used it in songs, stories, ritual texts, letters, contracts and legal records. A 2013 account identifies a rock inscription from 682 as the earliest known example of this wider writing tradition; that dates Sawndip, not this individual graph. Modern standard Zhuang uses a Latin-based alphabet.
In romantic contexts, mbauq can mean a male sweetheart or partner. A 2019 Chinese–Zhuang translation article pairs it with sau (“young woman” or “female partner”) in a married person's story to convey an outside relationship. The affair reading comes from the phrase and story, not from 𭻚 by itself.
The romantic shade belongs to the phrase, not automatically to the character.
Don't read “affair” into 𭻚 by itself; context supplies that implication.
