What 𭻯 means
It is recorded as a nonstandard variant of 畺.
Shuowen, an early Chinese dictionary, explains 畺 as 畕 (“fields”) divided by three boundary marks. Forms of 畺 appear on Shang oracle bones—animal bones used for divination—and Western Zhou bronze inscriptions; both were early Chinese dynasties. In 疆, 土 (“earth”) marks the meaning while 彊 supplies the sound; dictionaries also give 疆 the senses of border and territory.
