What 𮇼 means
Read it in context; its parts are not a translation.
The University of Tokyo’s digital character list links it to the Taishō collection of Buddhist scriptures, published in 1924–1934.
It places 米 (“rice” or “grain”) left of 復 (“return” or “restore”); together, they describe the written form, not a phrase.
Why does 𮇼 show as a box?
Your font may not include its glyph.
As of 2026-10-06, the University of Tokyo list says its specimens use webfonts that may fail in unsupported browsers. The text can still contain the character even when the font cannot draw it.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𮇼 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the CJK Unified Ideographs Extension F block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
