What 𮌂 means
𮌂 shortens 肅: respectful, solemn, and sometimes strict.
Traditional Chinese and Korean Hanja use 肅; Simplified Chinese uses 肃, and Japanese uses 粛. These are different written forms of the same character.
The full 肅 appears on late Western Zhou bronzes and in Chu manuscripts. The early dictionary Shuowen Jiezi glosses it as carrying out duties with respect; classical texts also use it for receiving a guest and for plants shrinking in autumn.
Why does 𮌂 appear as a box?
A font missing this glyph can show an empty box.
The text can still contain 𮌂; a font covering CJK Extension F can display it.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𮌂 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
