What 𮑵 means
In 人𮑵, it names ginseng; the gloss equates it with 參.
Luo Yuan’s Erya Yi, a Song dynasty commentary on the classic dictionary Erya, quotes Shuowen Jiezi, an early Chinese character dictionary: “人𮑵,出上党” (“ginseng from Shangdang”). He then explains that 𮑵 is 參, making this a written form inside the plant’s name.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𮑵 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the CJK Unified Ideographs Extension F block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
