What 𮓓 means
Historical references connect it to two different characters.
The Kaogong ji (“Record of Artificers”), in the Rites of Zhou, calls the black-and-blue clothing pattern 黻. The same character also names the apron-like panel worn with ritual dress. In Japanese, 黻 is read フツ, with senses for embroidery and a formal apron.
In Hongmingji (“Collection for Clarifying Buddhism”), a Chinese Buddhist anthology, 𮓓 is also identified as a form of 甫.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𮓓 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
