What 𮖭 means
It is a rare written variant of 裔.
An inscription on a bronze vessel from China’s early Warring States period, before its first empire, uses 裔孫 for a distant descendant. Shuowen Jiezi, a Han-era Chinese dictionary, defines 裔 as the lower edge of a garment. From that edge came “border” and “remote region,” then descendants at the far end of a family line. The related form 裔 is read yì in Mandarin pinyin, ye (예) in Korean Hanja, and ei (えい) in Japanese kanji; these are local readings, not one shared pronunciation.
