What 𮠨 means
Its meaning depends on the writing tradition. A Taishō Tripiṭaka ritual instruction uses 𮠨 in the name of a jujube tree whose branch is cut for a ceremonial fire. The Taishō Tripiṭaka is a Japanese edition of Chinese Buddhist scriptures, published in 1924–1934.
Zhuang is a language spoken mainly in Guangxi. Its traditional character-based script, Sawndip, adapted Chinese-character forms to write Zhuang words. The 1989 Old Zhuang Character Dictionary records 𮠨 with the Zhuang readings doz (“drunk”) and ndo (“rice-wine starter” or “drunk”).
