What 𮡓 means
It is another written form of 野, meaning open country. Shuowen Jiezi, an early Chinese character dictionary completed around 100–121 CE, defines 野 as land beyond the suburbs and records 埜 as an older form. It describes 埜 as made from a shortened 里 (“village”) and 林 (“woods”).
The University of Tokyo’s SAT digital catalog lists 𮡓 among forms in the Taishō Tripiṭaka, a Japanese Buddhist scripture collection published in 1922–1934.
A source-text variant; preserve it when transcribing that form, and use 野 for ordinary writing.
