What 𮣳 means
It describes a resonant metallic clang.
𮣳 is a variant form of 鈜 (hóng). The Han-dynasty dictionary Shuowen does not list 鈜. The poem 舞馬篇 by Xue Yao from the Tang dynasty uses 鏗鈜 for a loud, resonant sound; in the Song dynasty, rhyme dictionaries—reference works organized by sound—gloss 鈜 as a metallic sound and as the sound of bells and drums.
