What 𮦇 means
It records the Zhuang word fwn, “rain.”
Sawndip is the traditional character-based script used to write Zhuang, a language spoken in southern China. It combines borrowed Chinese characters with newly formed character-like graphs to write Zhuang words. In modern Standard Zhuang, the word is spelled fwn with Latin letters. Sawndip appears in songs, ritual texts, stories, family records, and contracts. A separate early example appears in a Chinese-language stone inscription dated 697 CE: one nonstandard character there writes naz, a Zhuang word for a rice field.
