What 𮧪 means
The representative form 㬧 has two recorded dictionary roles. During the Han dynasty, Shuowen Jiezi, an early Chinese character dictionary, glosses 㬧 bó as “joining a garment’s collar.” Its entry describes 糸 (“thread”) plus a shortened 暴 as the sound part.
The form is also recorded as a variant of 暴. The older pù sense of 暴 means exposing something to sunlight; later bào meanings include “fierce” and “violent.” These are separate dictionary paths, so surrounding words tell you which one is meant.
