What 𮮳 means
It is another written form of 鼻, the character for “nose.”
Oracle-bone inscriptions—divination records carved on animal bones and turtle shells in early China—show the older graph 自. It pictured a nose and later also wrote “self”; 鼻 added 畀, a sound component, to distinguish the nose word.
鼻 also means “first” or “origin” in words such as 鼻祖, “founding ancestor.” This glyph’s Unicode source record links it to Japan’s Moji Jōhō Kiban Project, a government inventory of characters used in administrative records.
Why can’t I see 𮮳?
Your font may not include its glyph.
Without glyph support, a font may show a blank box even though the text still contains 𮮳.
