What 𮮿 means
To preserve an exact form from a printed Buddhist canon.
The SAT project made a searchable digital text of the Taishō Tripiṭaka. In the team's early digital work, some forms were pieced together from other characters or shown as black boxes. Unicode gave selected forms standard character codes; the SAT list describes this one with the traditional teeth character at left and 寸 at right.
