What 𰁟 means
No; it tells you how the Zhuang word is read, not its meaning.
Sawndip uses some Chinese characters as-is and builds others from Chinese parts to write Zhuang words. A similar-looking Chinese character is not automatically the same Zhuang word.
The tradition's early history is debated: some 7th-century inscriptions from Zhuang areas include nonstandard forms that may be Sawndip or its precursors. Song-era records mention local writing in legal papers. Later Sawndip texts include ritual writing, songs, stories, family records and contracts; an alphabet-based Zhuang script became standard for formal documents in 1957.
