What 𰄭 means
It carries the old sense “separate” or “loosen.” Chinese dictionaries list 𰄭 as a simplified form of 𠠫, replacing 麗 with 丽 while keeping 刂, the knife component. The Kangxi Dictionary cites Fangyan, a Han-era glossary of regional speech, for the older form’s gloss.
Park Jiwon (1737–1805), a Korean scholar, describes 𠠫刀, literally “𠠫 blade,” as a short, thick-backed sickle fitted to a small ox-drawn plow. It cuts dense reeds, brush, and roots before the plow opens a furrow.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𰄭 show as a box on some devices?
It is recent: Unicode added it in version 13.0 (2020), and phones and computers whose fonts are older than that have nothing to draw it with. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
