What 𰛮 means
It is a variant of 滷, tied to brine and seasoned cooking.
The Yupian character dictionary, compiled in 543, glosses 滷 as salty water; Taiwan’s Ministry of Education dictionary also uses it for simmering food in seasoned liquid. The Ideographic Research Group, which reviews Han characters for Unicode, lists 𰛮 in a United Kingdom submission for its 2015 Working Set. Extension G entered Unicode in 2020.
