What 𰞿 means
It writes a Zhuang cooking verb. Cienq means “fry” or “simmer”; doubling names preparing medicine. A dictionary of old Zhuang characters (1989) records this form and is the Unicode source for the glyph.
Sawndip adapts Chinese character forms to Zhuang. A 682 Guangxi stele is among the earliest surviving evidence for it; a 1175 account reports its use in petitions and contracts. A 2013 manuscript survey records regional variation. Those dates concern the script, not this glyph’s first appearance.
