What 𰤽 means
𰤽 is a simplified-form counterpart of 𥂫. Two old Chinese dictionaries, 《廣雅》 and 《玉篇》, gloss 𥂫 as 盂, a bowl or basin. 《方言》, an early dictionary of regional Chinese speech, places that word between the He and Ji rivers in ancient China.
Bronze inscriptions show 盞 as a food vessel; later Chinese sources use it for a small wine cup. Chinese lexicons also list 𥂫 as a variant of 盞.
