What 𰷒 means
It describes a high price.
The Ancient Zhuang Character Dictionary (1989) gives the Zhuang reading bengz, with an example about vegetables costing too much.
Sawndip grew as Zhuang writers adapted Chinese character forms to write their language. Its earliest surviving inscription is a Tang-era stone text in Guangxi. In the Southern Song, Fan Chengda mentions local writing used for legal papers around Guilin. Sawndip also recorded ritual books, songs and family records. A Latin-based Zhuang orthography introduced in 1955 was revised in the 1980s and later became the school standard.
