What 𰹥 means

Its records connect this glyph with wheel craft and carriage covers.

The Xunzi, a classical Chinese text from the 3rd century BCE, uses 輮 for bending straight wood into a wheel. Shuowen Jiezi, an early Chinese character dictionary compiled around 100 CE, defines 䡬 as the cloth canopy over a carriage. A Ming dictionary, 重訂直音篇, printed in 1606, lists 𰹥 under the entry for 䡬.

Why does 𰹥 show as a box?

It can, if the selected font lacks the glyph. Noto Sans CJK KR’s coverage list (checked October 2026) includes Extension F but not G, so that font may show a replacement box.
