What 𰺠 means
It is a rare variant of the old cart character 䡾.
The early dictionary Shuowen Jiezi defines 䡾 as a cart carrying a high load. Later sources also use it for “lofty”; classical texts repeat it as 䡾䡾 for high palace eaves.
A separate gloss equates 䡾 with 轙, a ring on the carriage yoke that holds the reins. Unihan lists 𰺠 as 䡾’s simplified variant, so look up 䡾 for a fuller definition.
