What 𰽣 means
It is a simplified form of 鈏, an old name for tin.
The Han-era Shuowen Jiezi, a Chinese-character dictionary, glosses 鈏 as tin; Han scholar Zheng Xuan gives the same gloss in a note on the Rites of Zhou, an old ritual text. Shuowen says 金 marks metal and 引 gives the sound.
Guangyun, a rhyme dictionary, also records an iron-implement sense.
A philological character tied to historical metal vocabulary.
Older dictionaries give both tin and an iron implement; context decides the sense.
