What 𰿻 means
“Peacefully; quietly.”
In the Shiji (109–91 BCE), a Chinese history, 闟 appears in 闟戟 for a long halberd carried beside a chariot. Chinese dictionaries record other senses too; the compound and sentence show which meaning fits.
Why does 𰿻 show as a box?
Your font or text tool may not support it.
This ideograph lies outside Unicode’s Basic Multilingual Plane, the first Unicode range; a font without its glyph can show a box or blank. UTF-16, a common text encoding, stores it as two 16-bit units called a surrogate pair, so software that counts units can report two.
