What 𱈃 means
It is a simplified written form of 𩹂.
𱈃 uses 鱼 where 𩹂 has 魚. Old Chinese sound dictionaries read 𩹂 as wèi and gloss it as a fish.
The Shan Hai Jing (“Classic of Mountains and Seas”), an ancient Chinese book of geography and marvels, describes a snake-like fish with four legs. A Song-era encyclopedia gives it as 𩹂; a Qing-era note says the passage has 鱧 instead.
