What 𱌡 means
It is recorded as the same character as 齮. The Shuowen Jiezi, a Chinese character dictionary compiled in the Eastern Han dynasty, defines 齮 as “to bite.” It analyzes the character as 齒, the tooth component, plus 奇 as a sound cue. Some dictionaries also give 齮 the extended sense “to encroach.” This encoded form was added to Unicode in 2020; that date marks its computer encoding, not the character’s written history.
Why might 𱌡 display as a square?
Your font or app may lack its glyph. Depending on current font or app support, this text character may appear as a square, a question mark, or blank space; the fallback display does not change the underlying character.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𱌡 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
