What 𱎝 means
It writes the Zhuang noun mieng. That word means a ditch or canal, and can also mean an open ditch.
Sawndip is a traditional character script used to write Zhuang, built by adapting Chinese characters and their parts. Inscriptions survive from the seventh century; this form is recorded in the 1989 Dictionary of Ancient Zhuang Characters.
Traditional Zhuang manuscripts include songs, ritual texts, stories and plays. A standardized alphabetic spelling system for Zhuang was introduced in 1957 and revised in 1982; 𱎝 belongs to the older character tradition.
