Sawndip character lw

128/4192

𱏏 is an old Zhuang character in Sawndip, a traditional script built from Chinese-character forms to write the Zhuang language. The script is documented on a Tang-era stone inscription; in 1175, Fan Chengda described local petitions and contracts written in it. Other Sawndip texts include scriptures, songs, stories, and local records. The 1989 Ancient Zhuang Character Dictionary gives the reading lw for this glyph; that is pronunciation information, not a translation.

Why does 𱏏 show as a box on some devices?

Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
