What 㝭 means
Its core idea is waking into awareness. Older Chinese dictionaries gloss it as 醒悟, the point when someone wakes to what is happening.
Taiwan’s 2024 variant dictionary says the early Chinese dictionary Shuowen Jiezi does not record 㝭. It cites Longkan Shoujing, a character dictionary compiled in 997 from handwritten forms to help readers look up characters; a later Song reprint changed the title to Longkan Shoujian.

Questions people ask
1Why does 㝭 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
