What 㟺 means
It names a mountain top or summit.
㟺 is a written variant of 嶁; 嵝 is the simplified counterpart.
The earliest named dictionary witness is the Yupian, a Chinese dictionary compiled c. 543. Later records include Song-era rhyme dictionaries, which organize characters by rhyme, and the Kangxi Dictionary, a major Chinese reference work.
Two pinyin readings appear in references
The sources file 㟺 under two readings.
The Chinese Text Project lists lóu; Taiwan’s Ministry of Education variant dictionary gives lǒu. In Mandarin, lóu sounds roughly like “low” with a rising tone; lǒu starts low and bends upward.
Use 嶁 in traditional Chinese or 嵝 in simplified Chinese when broad recognition matters; 㟺 is recorded as a variant.
A missing-glyph box is a font coverage issue; it does not mean the character has changed.
