What 㯵 means
A palm's name in its rarest spelling. 㯵 pairs the wood radical 木 with 董 to write 㯵棕, fishtail palm Caryota obtusa.
The starch tradition is old: Caryota starch appears in archaeology 5,300–4,400 years ago; Eastern Jin texts (317–420 AD) record a palm-starch flour, guāngláng. A 2022 survey found the Dulong of Yunnan still eating C. obtusa as a staple-food substitute.
Botanical term, not chat material.
One palm, two spellings: 㯵棕 and 董棕, same species.
