What 㳢 means
㳢 is a simplified form of 𣾷, a rare Chinese name character. Chinese dictionaries record 𣾷 as a surname and also as a character used in Taiwanese personal names. Its Mandarin readings are qiáo, with a rising pitch, and qiǎo, with a pitch that dips then rises.
An older record leads to commentaries on Erya, an ancient Chinese reference work. Bibliographic notes from the Ming and Qing periods disagree over a commentator’s name: some print 谢㳢, others 谢峤. The notes preserve an editorial dispute over how to write a person’s name.
Why does 㳢 look different?
Its right side changes in the simplified form. 㳢 pairs the water radical 氵, a shortened form of 水, with simplified 乔; 𣾷 uses traditional 喬 in the same position. 峤 is a different character: its left side is 山, the character for mountain.
If 㳢 arrives alone, read it first as the Chinese character or part of a name. The dictionary trail points to 𣾷 and name use; surrounding text supplies the specific reference.
Register: rare and name-like, specific to a Chinese written context.
A bare 㳢 is not enough to infer a feeling; read the character or name first.

1Why does 㳢 show as a box?
Your app’s font may not include this rare Chinese character, so the screen can show a box or replacement mark. That is a display gap; it does not give the character a new meaning.
