What 㻚 means
Chinese dictionaries describe it as a character used in personal names. Historical-text indexes preserve it in names and name records, so 㻚 sent alone is better read as a character to identify than as a conversational message.
A form labelled 包2.74 appears on inscribed bamboo slips from the ancient state of Chu, during the Warring States period. Later references preserve 㻚 in names and variant lists; a Japanese kanji dictionary built from old resident registers (official records of residents) also lists 㻚 as a variant of 朋.
Neutral as a character. Sent alone, it reads like a name entry, something to look up, or a font test—not a clear emotion.
Alone, it may look like a mistaken character rather than a message.
