What 䇚 means
A light tap or small blow. It's an old variant of 攴, written with 竹 (bamboo) on top, but it's no bamboo word. Chinese dictionaries read it pū.
攴 meant 'small blow' in the Han-era Shuowen Jiezi; Taiwan's Ministry of Education lists 䇚 as its variant, citing the medieval dictionaries Jiyun, Yupian and Guangyun.
Specialist vocabulary; gloss it for ordinary readers.

Questions people ask
1Why does 䇚 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
