What 䗂 means
It appears in specialized Chinese animal names.
蠅虎 (“fly tiger”) names a spider described as catching flies; 䗂蜼 names a salamander-like amphibian.
The Ministry of Education dictionary notes Shuowen Jiezi, an earlier Chinese character dictionary, omits 䗂 and cites Yupian, Guangyun, and later works. The Kangxi Dictionary and Guangyun call it a variant formed by adding the insect radical 虫 to 虎 for 蠅虎; Han Dian records another reading.
Specialized, lexicographic animal-name use.
Alone, it may not identify the animal.

1Questions people ask
1Why does 䗂 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
