What 䛢 means
It means crafty, sly, or deceitfully clever.
The sense is recorded chiefly in 诋䛢, a compound glossed as 狡猾 (“crafty” or “sly”). The Kangxi Dictionary, a major historical Chinese dictionary, also gives an older gloss about people deceitfully reproaching one another; another lexicon records an eccentric or absurd sense. These entries point toward deception and crooked speech rather than one neat everyday equivalent.
The Guangyun, a Chinese rhyme dictionary compiled in 1007–1008, records 䛢 under the 秃 rhyme group and in 诋䛢. A rhyme group is a dictionary section for characters with related sounds.
How do I type 䛢?
Try a Mandarin pinyin input method (IME).
Enter tū; because 䛢 is rare, it may not appear among the candidates. Handwriting lookup or a Unicode-aware character picker is a practical fallback.
For ordinary writing, spell out the intended word unless you are quoting 诋䛢; the character alone is unlikely to communicate “sly.”
Its documented setting is literary and lexicographic.
Do not send it alone expecting “sly” to be understood.
