What 䨓 means
It denotes thunder, as 雷 does.
In oracle-bone and early bronze writing from Late Shang China, 雷 appears as 畾, a design of wheel-like circles beside 申, the character for lightning; the circles evoke rolling thunder. Later bronze forms added 雨 (“rain”), and the seal-script form, used in an early formal writing style, is 靁. Oracle-bone inscriptions also used 雷 in personal and place names.
Archaic and dictionary-like; 䨓 reads as a preserved historical spelling.
Use 雷 for ordinary modern Chinese writing.

1Why does 䨓 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the CJK Unified Ideographs Extension A block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
